Faith-based organizations want their congregation members to be healthy physically as well as spiritually. Additionally, people look toward their faith communities for support in various aspects of their lives.

The Michigan Department of Community Health (MDCH) and the Michigan Steps Up! Healthy Lifestyle Campaign want to support Michigan’s citizens in achieving better health through increased physical activity, healthier eating and adopting tobacco-free lifestyles. The following websites were developed by these organizations in collaboration with other partners to support the efforts of faith-based organizations in promoting healthier congregations.
