SCHOOL BREAKFAST SUCCESS STORY
This school year we provided breakfast in the classroom to all students at this building, free of charge. The student council stepped-up to assist our regular staff in packing insulated bags of breakfast components for each classroom. Under the careful guidance of a para-professional they assemble each bag, make the designated adjustments for special dietary needs in each particular classroom, and ensure delivery of the bags to the teachers' classrooms.
Because of this tremendous effort on the part of the student group we have not increased payroll expenses yet are able to provide over 300 breakfasts in the classroom daily.
