SCHOOL LUNCH
SUCCESS STORY

At Scott Elementary School we were able to implement recess before lunch for the 2009-2010 school year. We researched recess before lunch the previous year by attending a school to watch how they structured their program, whether they were satisfied, and what types of difficulties they had. After our research and working out the details, we decided that having recess before lunch was best for our students and implemented it at the beginning of the year. The student’s feedback has been very positive and we look forward to continuing with recess before lunch.
